About us
Adega Baía do Canto
Maintaining the charm of the original design, the cellar offers all the comforts of a home away from home. All the wooden pieces, tables, cupboards were created by the owner and most are made from old parts of the cellar, either pieces of wood that were already in the building or driftwood brought in from the beach. In addition, the porcelain plates and tiles on the kitchen wall were made by the couple, as were the framed tiles on the wall and the paintings. The property is located in Baia do Canto, an area known for its stunning landscapes, vineyards and proximity to the sea. Whether you’re looking for adventure or simply want to enjoy the tranquillity of nature, this winery is the ideal destination!

We really enjoyed our stay in Nancy’s nicely done Aldega. The location is perfect if you want a quiet week away with amazing views from the front porch. Check in was seamless with great communication and help from Helena. If we ever make it back to Pico we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The best months are from June to the end of September, as this is usually the hottest time, although our guests say they enjoy staying here all year round, with the view and the sound of the sea waves so close.
